My heart skips a beat.
White toes look fresh. no?
Oh yes. (Taken with instagram)
#insidemybathroomcabinet is not particularly interesting, but I do have this fantastic bag courtesy my mother, in which I tote everything I might need to make a quick change from cyclist to corporate operations maven to designer and back in the course of any given day. It rules. (And the closure - recycled tape measures in the seams like snap bracelets - is brilliance.) #febphotoaday (Taken with instagram)
UPDATE: For the record, those go-to’s for quick changes of all kinds include…
…dry shampoo - Oscar Blandi on the road, Claire’s recipe at home. (Homemade is messier, Oscar’s I can use already dressed.)
…OPI ‘s RapiDry top coat - actually rapid-drying, actually bulletproof(ish). I can slick this stuff on minutes before hopping on my bike and not mess up my nails in transit.
…L’Oreal Infallible lip color - even though they’ve discontinued Beyonce Red and I don’t like the alternatives as much, this stuff still wears longer (through meals and cocktails and drooling on my pillow overnight) than anything else I’ve tried. Ever. Put it on, forget about it.
…Maybelline Stiletto liquid eyeliner - I put on a mascara du jour every morning (usually L’Oreal Telescopic, to be fair), but adding liquid liner at the end of the work day is a quick way to look like I didn’t just shake my hair out from under my bike helmet. (Now you know.)
…Essie - period, full stop. Every time I try a trendy color in a cheap brand I’m disappointed. I’m seldom patient enough to put five coats on my nails; one is most likely, two tops. Essie covers quickly, and lasts at least until I get bored and change colors, even if I don’t use the RapiDry.
