Dreamer with a Day Job

Kate Ziegler. Runner of Silly Long Distances. Designer of Beautiful Things. Rider of Bicycles. Culinary Guesstimator. Travel Fanatic. Contemporary Art Enthusiast. Fashion Magazine Addict.

Full-time Master of All Things Logistical, after-hours Partner at Union Jack Creative.

A few things I am not:
-pro-ana
-a speedy runner
-shy about public speaking
-opposed to cocktails before noon
-sorry for including all of my interests in one confused tumblelog

This blog contains my personal musings, adventures and inspirations.

Shenanigans, beautiful finds and Instagrammed shots from daily life, you can follow here. Shoes, cocktails, feathers and food; fashion, running, bikes and art. Sometimes politics. Sometimes athletics. Sometimes all of the above.

My full account (running only, no stilettos) of my athletic ambitions since running the 2011 Boston Marathon for charity is at KateRuns, though I share snippets here as often as possible.

Want to get in touch? Ask me anything or shoot me an email at kate [at] unionjackcreative [dot] com! I tweet and facebook, too.

Be sure to also follow Union Jack Creative for a more gender neutral dose of design and contemporary art.

Truth.

mariseca:

Well, this license-less girl can’t dictate the road. And I won’t pretend to understand the runway.

But there are, ladies AND gentlemen, certain rules of the workplace. And the real life, too.

Kate, Danielle and I spend quite a bit of time dissecting workplace and real life etiquette, routines, rituals, you name it. The written, worn, spoken…as well as the very much unwritten, unworn, and unspoken.

I leave you with today’s gem:

Kate if I run the risk of seeing control top when you sit down at a meeting, it is not okay.
