Today, my galoshes started leaking.
Actually, it started a while ago, but it was a slow process of melting snow seeping in between the seam of the upper and the footbed, and for a few weeks I just assumed my feet were too warm in my lined galoshes and were sweating.
This morning, there was no mistaking the cold, cold snow-water moisture at my toes as I sat on the T.
I was heartbroken. They’re just over a year old, a gift...
